Spades and Potato Heads.

As i am using a childhood memories theme for my final module at Uni, i have been panting some pages for a beach theme, I have finally finished one of my paintings of spades, and im quite happy with it, even though it took me two days to get it all done.

Whilst i was busy Painting my little cousin decided to get creative her self and make a Potato Head Family.
She called them, Bob George and Tilly, the Potato Head family.

Knitted Motorcycle

This has nothing to do with my work, but i LOVE this wool covered motorcycle by Theresa Honeywell, and even though im not a big fan of pink i still think it looks pretty great.

Cake Time.

I love making cakes, especially with my little cousin Mia. She normally gets me to mix the mixture first then she will stir it twice and just want to lick the spoon and bowl, but for the first time she actually made them all herself, (minus puting them in the oven) even cracking the egg, and not getting any of the shell into the mixture.

Insperation.

For my final semester i have decided to use Childhood memories as my theme, so i have been looking at the sea side, fair ground rides, partys, toys and other things that people and children remember from when they was younger.

I really like Louli's ideas for summer card's design's. They have inspired me to try and make some of my own, using some of my sketch book designs and work sheets. I love how they are made from different patterned fabrics, it makes them look really cute and quirky.
